What to Expect

• Please feel free to telephone during office hours to discuss your requirements, although I can not give specific advice over the phone, I will be able to give you an idea of my approach and if your issues can be helped through nutrition

• Understanding your current intake is very important, I will normally send you comprehensive intake form and one-week diet diary and ask you to return it to me before your first appointment. If your matter is urgent then it is possible for me to gather this information during your visit.

• During the initial consultation, a careful history of the complaint and a personal health history will be taken. We will discuss initial ideas around the treatment plan and first steps to take. You will then be given a detailed and personal treatment plan to follow. There will also be time for any questions you may have.

• A second consultation approximately 1-4 weeks later will look at your initial progress and how the treatment plan if working. The first stages are the most important so we will review what is working and what changes are needed.

• Follow-up Appointments: If it is necessary for you have a follow-up appointment then this is usually within two-four weeks of the second consultation, this is used to assess the effectiveness of your treatment plan and make any changes or improvements based on your progress.
